The Discourse Panel of the DINA project
Due to the scope of the DINA project and its many networks with various interest groups, we see the necessity and opportunity for a broad dialogue process. For this purpose, a so-called Discourse Panel is organized twice a year, in which representatives from nature conservation, politics, economy, and science meet to discuss the project and its development in an open dialogue.
The aim is to discuss current developments of the project and possible political recommendations for the protection of insect diversity in nature conservation areas and to reflect on their feasibility. A transdisciplinary exchange of perspectives on the decline of insect biodiversity will be promoted and broad participation of stakeholders and the scientific community will be ensured. In addition, governmental authorities should be given the opportunity to consider the scientific results of this project for political decisions. This discourse panel will provide feedback to enable multiperspectivity and feasibility and to achieve social impacts.

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Gerlind Lehmann (NABU) and the moderation of Dr. Alexandra Lux (ISOE), the following actors participate in the Discourse Panel of the DINA project:
